About the Opportunity: An exciting opportunity has become available to join the City of Darwin Regulatory Services team in a permanent full-time capacity as an Administration Officer - Regulatory Services. You will play an important role in delivering efficient and effective administrative support for regulatory services, ensuring compliance with legislative, policy, and procedural guidelines. You will provide high-quality customer service both face-to-face and over the phone, including handling parking, animal and by-law inquiries, data entry, payments processing, and managing a range of permit and infringement systems. You will also support your team by performing a variety of clerical duties, collaborating across the organisation, and ensuring service delivery to the highest standard.

Requirements
Relevant Certificate IV Qualification or Minimum two years' experience in a clerical/administrative role in a medium to large customer service environment
Ability to interpret and provide accurate advice on legislation relevant to local government and associated by-laws
Excellent customer service skills including problem-solving, dispute mediation, and the ability to interact effectively with a diverse range of people
Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related data entry and record management systems
