Exciting opportunity for an Administration Assistant to join our team. Full-time and part-time, ongoing positions available. Hours are between 8:00am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday. Austin Health is the major provider of tertiary health services, health professional education and research across three campuses in the north-east of Melbourne and statewide. About Surgery and Endoscopy Access: Surgery and Endoscopy Access is a part of the Division of Surgery, Anaesthesia, and Procedural Medicine at Austin Health. This team, comprising both administrative and nursing staff, focuses on providing efficient and streamlined care for patients across our campuses.

Job Responsibility

  • Providing effective phone support and acting as the main point of contact for Surgical and Endoscopy Access inquiries
  • Delivering excellent customer service to all stakeholders, ensuring a positive experience
  • Supporting Liaison Nurses and Clinical Nurse Consultants in their daily duties
  • Managing administrative tasks, including accurate data entry and record-keeping
  • Applying a flexible and innovative approach to work processes

  • Proven excellence in customer service and communication, both verbal and written
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills
  • The ability to work autonomously and as part of a dynamic team
  • Developed computer and administrative skills, with a focus on accurate data management
