Administration Assistant - Maternity Cover at Marden Court care home in Calne. A busy and varied role supporting the Home Manager to ensure the home runs smoothly. Part of a team passionate about providing a safe environment, warmth and kindness.
Job Responsibility:
Support the Home Manager with a full range of reception, administrative and basic finance activities to ensure the Home runs smoothly
First point of contact for enquiries, demonstrating a professional and welcoming manner
Responsible for ensuring all visitors follow infection control rules
Taking the lead on coordinating testing requirements, organising couriers and associated administrative tasks
Assist with the planning and management of events in the home, including celebrating residents’ milestone birthdays, fetes, employee presentations or other activities
Requirements:
Previous experience from an administrative or reception job
Confident using Microsoft Office
Experience of handling cash and keeping reports up to date
Ideally have Maths and English to GCSE level
Comfortable in an elderly care setting, able to relate to residents in a caring and sensitive manner
Efficient and organised
Happy to use initiative to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
