We are looking for an organised and reliable Admin Assistant to join our team with Independent Grocers (Metcash). Independent Grocers (Metcash) Alice Springs supply town and remote communities with a wide range of essential food products. This is a permanent part-time role with 25 hours per week, and has flexibility on days and hours.
Job Responsibility:
providing administrative support to the branch buyers with confirmation of purchase orders
general communication to suppliers for enquiries and follow ups
purchasing daily buy ins
provided administrative assistance to the tele sales team when required
general administrative support to the branch management and sectors
Requirements:
demonstrated customer service experience and skills
ability to be diverse in a team environment
strong communication skills
sound knowledge and demonstrated experience in computer systems and Microsoft Office Suite
