An exciting opportunity has arisen for the position of Administration Team lead. The established team of administrators will be supported and guided by the post-holder and the post-holder will co-ordinate and supervise a team of different grades of administrators working within the core Administration Team at NHS Talking Therapies.
Job Responsibility:
Co-ordinate and supervise a team of different grades of administrators
Ensure robust supervision and operational procedures are in place
Take operational responsibility for the team and for the allocation of work
Maintain up to date knowledge of the full range of administrative and Navigo policies, processes and procedures
Undertake any other general administrative duties within the requirements of the Team
Be instrumental in the ongoing development of the electronic system and processes and pathways relative to area of service
Undertake any other relevant duties required from time to time as requested by Management
Requirements:
Educated to GCSE level grade A to C or equivalent including Mathematics and English Language
RSA/OCR Grade III Typing/Word Processing standard
Able to demonstrate knowledge, experience and training
Maintaining databases and spreadsheets
Previous NHS secretarial/ administrative experience and knowledge of hospital administration procedures
Previous experience at working at Secretary/Administration level with supervisory responsibilities
Proven ability to direct and lead staff
Ability to communicate at all levels
Excellent customer service skills with the experience and ability to deal with telephone enquiries from other Agencies, Service Users, their families and carers as well as Mental Health professionals
Ability to minute complex clinical meetings
Diary management skills
Proven audio typing skills
Confident and approachable
Adaptable and flexible in approach to working practice
Initiative and proactive approach
Ability to work under pressure
Excellent IT skills Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Publisher & Outlook
Active and effective team member
A Willingness to undertake further training as required

Supervisory trained
