Job Description

We are currently looking for a dynamic, methodical and thorough Admin Support Assistant to help guide the seemingly unending growth of our alternative provision. This position is ideal for candidates who are detail-oriented, reliable, and eager to contribute to our mission of making learning accessible for anyone and everyone.

Job Responsibility

  • Use a range of software, including email, spreadsheet and databases to ensure the efficient running of the business
  • Answering the phones and communicating messages
  • Occasional supporting with any event planning
  • Updating and formatting company documents including handbooks
  • Place stationery orders for the office and ensure all equipment in the office is maintained
  • Liaise with the landlord for any office maintenance issues
  • Sort all incoming and outgoing post, arrange couriers as and when required
  • Be the first point of contact for enquiries
  • Ensure the general upkeep and tidiness of the office
  • Supporting with the referrals function of SENse Learning – booking home visits, completing referrals forms and various other tasks
  • Be flexible in admin tasks across the company

Requirements

  • Share our commitment to the protection, safeguarding and wellbeing of children and young people
  • Have excellent ICT skills including knowledge of programmes such as GSuite and Microsoft Office
  • Be confident in learning new electronic systems specific to the company and provide support to Associates where needed
  • Previous experience of reception/office admin
  • First class written and verbal communication skills
  • Have excellent organisational skills, able to manage your time and job list efficiently, using a priority-based approach
  • Confidence with Excel/G-sheets
  • Is confident with data inputting of numbers
