Admin Officer - Birmingham. We're currently recruiting an Admin Officer to join a busy public sector team in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a professional and fast-paced environment, supporting vital court operations.
Job Responsibility:
Prepare case files and documentation for court hearings and tribunals
Input and update records using internal case management systems
Manage incoming and outgoing post
Draft standard letters, reports, notes, and official correspondence
Ensure all administrative tasks meet compliance and quality standards
Answer and make telephone/teams calls professionally
General administrative duties such as photocopying, scanning, and filing
Clerking duties - liaising with legal professionals and general public
Ensuring a smooth running of the court hearings
Requirements:
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Able to work at pace
Proficient in Microsoft Office and general IT systems
Reliable, flexible, and able to work independently or as part of a team
Basic DBS check
Three years of referencing as part of the pre-employment process
