Job Description

Admin Officer - Wolverhampton. Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week, 9:00am-5:00pm (some flexibility required). Temporary assignment with potential to extend - currently on the system until September 2026. Fully onsite. Supporting a busy Public Sector department.

Job Responsibility

  • Preparing papers and files for court, tribunals, hearings, and meetings
  • Creating and updating records on in-house computer system and data input
  • Post opening and dispatch
  • Standard letters and correspondence, notes, reports, submissions etc, according to guidelines and instructions
  • Ensuring compliance and administration documentation meet quality standards
  • Telephone calls
  • Adhoc admin - photocopying, scanning, filing
  • Clerking - face to face customer service

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • A flexible and reliable approach to work
  • DBS check
  • Three years of references
