Our client, a global private equity and investment advisory firm located in Manhattan is looking for a Temporary-to-Permanent Admin Floater to join their team. This position will operate on an in-office schedule between the hours of 8:30am-4:30pm with some flexibility for overtime. Compensation is $80-90K DOE.
Job Responsibility:
Provide planned and unplanned coverage for EAs during vacation, illness, and peak workload
Manage complex calendars, scheduling, and domestic/international travel with accuracy and urgency
Support investor-facing meetings, communications, and confidential materials
Coordinate closely with various admin teams to maintain consistency and alignment
Handle expenses, administrative processes, and daily operational tasks with precision
Act as a trusted liaison to internal and external stakeholders
Offer ad hoc support for Front of House, reception coverage, and facilities tasks as needed
Track actions, decisions, and outstanding items during coverage and deliver clear handovers
Work with Facilities to ensure seamless guest experience, meeting room setup, catering, and VIP preparation
Maintain high responsiveness, commercial awareness, and strong judgment during fast-paced periods
Requirements:
2-3+ years supporting senior executives
EA fundamentals must be strong
Experience within financial services, advisory, or private equity preferred but not required
Highly organized, calm under pressure, and able to operate autonomously with minimal hand‑holding
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
Discreet, emotionally intelligent, polished, and service-oriented
Tech-savvy: Advanced MS Office
familiarity with SharePoint
AI tools a plus
Able to pivot quickly and jump into new responsibilities without hesitation
