Job Responsibility

  • Requisitions supplies and equipment and maintains a monthly inventory of supplies
  • Post payments and credits to owner accounts
  • Reports daily balance of accounts receivable to General Manager, etc., as requested
  • Processes credit card chargebacks and returned checks, and assists in resolving guest billing issues
  • Manages the collection procedures
  • Prepares deposits from daily cash reports
  • Prepares and submits monthly aging reports
  • Reconciles vendor statements to invoices
  • Prepares and processes all invoices for review and approval by upper management
  • Manages vendor relations
  • Maintains files of all accounting information, payables & receivables, contracts, etc.
  • Assists in preparing accounting analysis
  • Complies with all company policies and procedures
  • Coordinate all correspondence related to owners/unit usage
  • Able to contact and negotiate vendor agreements as directed by the General Manager
  • Able to assist the General Manager with all operational projects
  • Able to coordinate and assist the General Manager with the implementation of all policies and procedures for staff
  • Assist in coordinating all Board-related functions with the General Manager
  • Processing owner information and request
  • Must perform multi-purpose tasking within the guidelines set forth by Capital Vacations
  • Complies with all Capital Vacations policies and procedures
  • Performs all other related duties and projects as assigned by the General Manager

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum two (2) years of Guest Services experience
  • Minimum one (1) year of accounting-related experience in a Timeshare/Resort environment
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Must have knowledge and proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must have knowledge and be able to use all basic office equipment
  • Multitask oriented, organized, and able to set priorities
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to adjust and interact with all levels of personnel
  • Must be able to do multi-function tasking coordinated with the General Manager
  • Must possess excellent communicative skills, both written and oral
  • Must possess leadership skills
  • Able to manage, direct, and complete assigned duties as directed by the General Manager
  • Must be able to assist, train, and direct staff where necessary
  • Must dress professionally
