Job Description:

As an Admin Assistant at a Barchester care home, you’ll carry out a range of responsibilities to help us deliver the quality care and support our residents deserve. In this varied role, we’ll need you to answer the phone, handle our files and support our managers.   • Carry out and accurately record routine observations such as blood pressure, pulse, respiratory rate, temperature, oxygen saturation, and blood glucose levels (after appropriate training)
  • Support basic clinical procedures, including wound care setup, assisting with catheter care, pressure area prevention, and mobility aids
  • Prepare and maintain clinical areas, including trolleys, beds, and equipment in readiness for patient use
  • Work collaboratively with nurses, doctors, therapists, and admin teams to support safe and efficient patient care
