We are looking for a detail-oriented Admin Assistant/Bookkeeper to join our team in St. Paul, Minnesota. This role offers a unique blend of administrative support and bookkeeping responsibilities, requiring precision and organizational skills. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing financial records while assisting with general office tasks.
Job Responsibility:
Manage general ledger tasks, ensuring accuracy and timely updates
Complete monthly bank and credit card reconciliations to maintain financial integrity
Handle bill payments and assist in preparing financial statements for individuals, trusts, and companies
Review daily account activity within investment accounting software and contribute to quarterly investment reports
Organize and maintain documentation related to investment accounts
Support the preparation of annual tax statements for tax return purposes
Oversee office supplies, including inventory management for kitchen and office needs
Retrieve and sort incoming mail, ensuring timely distribution
Requirements:
At least 1 year of experience in bookkeeping or administrative roles
Proficiency in QuickBooks for financial management tasks
Strong skills in data entry and maintaining accurate records
Familiarity with general ledger processes and reconciliations
Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail
Previous experience in clerical duties within an office environment
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting
