The Adjunct Career Services Instructor is on-site in Colorado Springs, CO and is responsible for delivering live instruction that prepares ACI Learning students to enter the IT job market or advance a career within, utilizing a provided, scoped curriculum. In this role, you will create a highly engaged learning environment that provides job readiness support, career coaching, and instills confidence. Building rapport and developing professional relationships will be the keys to success. Your success depends on our student's preparedness to achieve meaningful employment in IT.

Delivering live instruction that prepares ACI Learning students to enter the IT job market or advance a career within, utilizing a provided, scoped curriculum
Creating a highly engaged learning environment that provides job readiness support, career coaching, and instills confidence
Building rapport and developing professional relationships
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Education, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
3+ years of experience in career services, workforce development, recruiting, or adult education
Proficiency with job search platforms and tools, including LinkedIn, resume builders, and applicant tracking systems
Excellent communication and presentation skills with proven ability to deliver content to diverse audiences
Strong organizational and time-management skills
able to work independently and meet deliverables
Knowledge of career development frameworks, resume standards, and interview preparation strategies
Awareness of IT industry hiring practices and workforce demands
Understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion considerations in career coaching
Skill in facilitating engaging live and virtual instruction
Skill in career coaching, including resume critique, LinkedIn profile development, and interview practice
Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport and maintain professional relationships with students and colleagues
Ability to adapt teaching and coaching methods to varied learning styles and career goals
Ability to assess student progress and provide constructive, actionable feedback
Ability to motivate, encourage, and instill confidence in students pursuing IT careers
Ability to manage multiple cohorts and deliverables while meeting program objectives
