Job Responsibility:

  • Taking a more holistic care approach, work within a multidisciplinary team to support the journey from rehab to healing
  • Perform a variety of assessments depending on your area of clinical expertise. This could include functional capacity evaluations, worksite, ergonomic or activities of daily living assessments
  • Collaborate with a variety of stakeholders including the employee who has suffered injury, illness, or trauma, medical specialists, and other treatment providers
  • Work across the ADF and DVA portfolios, supporting our Veterans and current ADF members

Requirements:

  • Current unrestricted registration with AHPRA, ESSA (as an EP), ASORC or AASW
  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Osteopathy, Rehabilitation Counselling, Nursing, Psychology or Social Work
  • Minimum of 12 months clinical experience, with relevant registration in your health discipline
  • Ability to engage across multidisciplinary teams to support the achievement of a common goal
  • Passion to help people rehabilitate
  • Ability to work on-site at HMAS Albatross (Nowra Hill) between the hours of 07:30 - 15:30 Monday to Friday
