0 – 3 years of experience of packaging in a Manufacturing industry
High degree of manual dexterity

Job Responsibility

Assembles materials as instructed to build a wide variety of sample packages
Ensures precise use of tools required to create professional and realistic looking packages based upon customer needs
Follows technical requirements and standards including government food handling standard guidelines
Checks for accuracy and consistency when constructing multiple packages
Ensures projects are completed in a timely fashion and scheduled priorities are met
May collaborate with package designer and recommend effective processes for creating a particular package
Supports high quality training of new technicians to ensure optimum efficiency and performance
Additional duties as assigned

Requirements

Two year Technical Mechtonics degree preferred
Six years experience in an industrial manufacturing environment as a maintenance technician
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
Must be able to comply with the Meritor Drug and Alcohol policy
Intermediate computer knowledge, at an intermediate level in working with Microsoft Windows to include: Outlook, Word, and Excel
Ability to work all days and shifts, including overtime (10 hours a day, 4 days a week operation, including holidays)

Requirements

3-5 years of Interiors Remove & Install experience on corporate aircraft
Ability to break down cabinets remove hardware, inlay etc.
Ability to strip finish utilizing heat and scraper
Experience with sanding and prepping raw veneer and hardwood for finish, including touching up defects in veneer
Ability to mix match and apply stains and paints on new veneers
Knowledge on spraying polyester base coats and urethane top coats
Experience with Aircraft touch up
Ability to mask and unmask components for finish process
Mechanical aptitude
Ability to interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawings

Job Responsibility

Fabricate, install and refurbish aircraft interior equipment and furnishings per work order or customer request
Perform and document all work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations as required
Adhere to Bombardier General Work Requirements (Factory, Shop and / or Hanger positions)
Comply with environmental health / safety policies / procedures
Participate in 5-S activities
Assist with additional work on drop-ins and planned maintenance within the facility during slow periods of unplanned work as needed
Clean aircraft as required

Prepare foot bath sanitizer daily, and monitor chemical concentration regularly
Monitor temperature of thawed materials, storage, coolers & freezers and record results
Verify accuracy of production scales daily and other QC related monitoring equipment and record readings
Personal hygiene / GMP monitoring, record non-compliance
