Job Responsibility
Promote and Expand Additive Manufacturing Usage: Actively support the headquarter and all plant locations in the region to strengthen and increase the application of additive manufacturing technologies
Design for Additive Manufacturing (DfAM): Utilize strong design skills to create and optimize parts specifically for additive manufacturing processes, ensuring functionality and cost efficiency
Provide Training and Technical Support: Deliver hands-on training and guidance to engineers, technicians, and operators on 3D printing technologies, best practices, and design principles by creating your own training material
Operate and Maintain Additive Equipment: Ensure proficiency in operating all available 3D printers and related equipment, including troubleshooting and maintenance
Technology Research and Continuous Learning: Stay up to date with emerging additive manufacturing technologies and processes
proactively evaluate and implement new solutions to maintain a competitive edge
Cost Optimization through Additive Solutions: Identify opportunities to leverage additive manufacturing for cost savings in production, tooling, and prototyping
Standardization and Best Practices: Develop and implement standardized procedures and guidelines for additive manufacturing across all supported locations
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with design, production, and quality teams to integrate additive manufacturing into existing workflows and projects
Project Management and Reporting: Manage additive manufacturing projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with company objectives
Quality Assurance and Compliance: Ensure all additive manufacturing processes meet internal quality standards and comply with relevant industry regulations
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Additive Manufacturing, or similar
Strong knowledge of Design for Additive Manufacturing (DfAM) principles
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, NX)
Hands-on experience with multiple 3D printing technologies (FDM, SLS, SLA, Metal AM)
Ability to operate and maintain 3D printers and post-processing equipment
Understanding of materials used in AM (polymers, metals, composites)
Self-driven and proactive in learning new technologies
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent communication and training abilities
Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple plant locations
