Job Responsibility
Accompany ADAS development projects - from acquisition to series launch - with a focus on hardware and software quality for components such as ECUs, radars, cameras, and ultrasonic sensors
As Engineering Product Quality (EPQ) Manager, you act as an independent consultant and coach for preventive quality planning and ensure that quality requirements are embedded early in the development process
You support project teams in implementing quality assurance measures and contribute directly to achieving project milestones
You advise teams on quality topics along the V‑Model, ensuring alignment between customer requirements, test strategies, and internal processes
You represent product quality independently toward management and internal/external customers
Through objective assessments of project status and product maturity, you create transparency, identify risks, and support informed decision‑making
You collaborate closely with hardware development, mechanics, manufacturing, purchasing, and international teams to drive quality improvements
You prepare clear quality reports, communicate findings in reviews, and escalate issues when necessary—always with a pragmatic, value‑oriented mindset.
Requirements
Completed studies in engineering, physics, or a comparable technical field
Experience in automotive development or manufacturing, ideally at the interface between development teams and production plants
Knowledge in at least one of the following areas: software or hardware development (e.g., ASPICE, electronics, mechanics, manufacturing)
Experience in project and/or quality management
Familiarity with development‑accompanying methods (e.g., FMEA, problem solving, product engineering) is an advantage
Knowledge of process maturity models (e.g., Automotive SPICE) is desirable
willingness to learn is essential
Understanding of quality assurance processes in the automotive environment
Ability to assess product maturity and identify risks based on facts and data
Very good spoken and written English skills
Proactive, analytical, structured, and independent approach to work
Strong communication skills and intercultural competence
Enthusiasm for quality topics in development projects
Team‑oriented mindset and confidence in representing quality topics to stakeholders.
