Aware of the people strategy and ensuring the regional and local principles/ guidelines are reflected in our co-workers’ schedules by providing expertise, support and training of end-users in scheduling
Support the Staff Planning Manager in administrative elements associated with schedule creation and management
Secure compliance with IKEA employment standards, legal requirements, labour rules, and internal requirement within the unit
Partner with department managers to develop, adapt and continuously improve quality schedules aligned with forecasted hours, co-worker availability and skill levels
Contribute to the full staff planning process, from forecasting (including commercial drivers) through to execution and publication of schedules
Ensure schedules accurately reflect planned absences and collaborate with managers to balance co-workers, customer and business needs
