We are seeking an experienced and passionate ADA Accommodations Supervisor to lead a high-volume accommodations function supporting employees across all 41 states. This role is ideal for a hands-on people leader who is deeply knowledgeable in ADA accommodations, the interactive process, and complex case management. The manager will oversee a seasoned, close-knit team and play a critical role in ensuring compliant, practical, and employee-centered accommodation decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibility:
Lead and supervise a team of 8 direct reports, including Accommodation Coordinators and Accommodation Specialists
Oversee high-volume accommodations casework, with each team member managing a large caseload of active requests
Provide guidance and oversight on the ADA interactive process, ensuring consistency, compliance, and sound decision-making
Review and evaluate complex accommodation requests to determine feasibility, appropriateness, and compliance with ADA and related regulations
Partner closely with healthcare providers, internal leaders, and supervisors regarding medical documentation and accommodation needs
Manage and monitor open accommodation cases using case management systems, including tracking trends and workflow improvements
Support escalation management, ambiguity, and highly sensitive or complex accommodation situations
Ensure best practices related to pregnancy-related accommodations, PWFA, leave, and disability integration
Drive continuous improvement within a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Collaborate with HR and other internal stakeholders to align accommodation outcomes with legal guidelines and business needs
Requirements:
1+ year of people management or supervisory experience
Strong background in ADA accommodations and the interactive process
Experience handling high-volume, complex accommodations or disability casework
Hands-on experience with: ADA accommodations and accommodation case management
Pregnancy-related accommodations and PWFA
Leave of Absence (LOA) and disability programs
Third-party administrators (TPAs) for disability and accommodations
Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills
Confidence discussing medical documentation, legal guidelines, and accommodation decisions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to manage escalations, ambiguity, and sensitive employee situations
Sound judgment and decision-making skills in a regulated environment
Nice to have:
