The Ad Operations Specialist plays a critical leadership role in bringing that philosophy to life. The Ad Operations Specialist plays a critical role in the successful execution of media campaigns across digital channels. This individual is responsible for campaign setup, trafficking, quality assurance, tracking implementation, and reporting support to ensure campaigns launch accurately and perform as intended. You are detail-oriented, highly organized, and thrive in a fast-paced environment where precision matters. You enjoy solving problems, improving processes, and collaborating across teams to ensure operational excellence.

Job Responsibility

  • Apply exceptional attention to detail and executional rigor to campaign setup and management
  • Traffic and launch campaigns across media platforms, ensuring all campaign components are implemented accurately
  • Develop and maintain tracking documentation, trafficking sheets, and implementation guides
  • QA campaign setup, creative assets, URLs, tags, and targeting parameters prior to launch
  • Coordinate the deployment of pixels, conversion tracking, and other measurement solutions with internal teams and partners
  • Monitor campaign pacing and delivery, escalating concerns proactively
  • Build, maintain, and refine campaign management systems, templates, and organizational processes to ensure consistency, efficiency, and executional excellence
  • Maintain campaign documentation, including authorizations, insertion orders, and flowcharts where applicable
  • Support the reconciliation of media delivery against approved plans and budgets
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes, tools, and operational efficiency
  • Stay informed on platform updates, trafficking requirements, and evolving ad specifications
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve operational effectiveness
  • Explore emerging ad technologies and measurement solutions that enhance campaign execution
  • Develop expertise in tagging methodologies, attribution models, and reporting systems and work in partnership with data operations team members
  • Support the seamless execution of media campaigns by collaborating effectively across disciplines
  • Partner closely with media planning, buying, analytics, and account teams throughout campaign development and launch
  • Ensure creative assets are delivered according to platform specifications and campaign requirements
  • Assist in developing processes that enable efficient and scalable campaign activation
  • Contribute operational insights that strengthen overall campaign effectiveness
  • Foster a collaborative environment while helping elevate A&G's operational excellence
  • Serve as a trusted resource for campaign trafficking and execution best practices
  • Share knowledge and provide support to team members navigating operational challenges

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Advertising, Marketing, Communications, Business, or equivalent experience
  • 2–4 years of experience in digital ad operations, campaign trafficking, or media execution
  • Experience working within major media platforms such as Google Campaign Manager 360, Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, or similar environments
  • Familiarity with ad serving technologies, tracking pixels, UTM parameters, and conversion implementation
  • Understanding of campaign QA processes and troubleshooting methodologies
  • Experience supporting reporting, reconciliation, and campaign documentation
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify and resolve operational issues proactively
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Positive, collaborative attitude with a problem-solving orientation
