Job Description:

This role is an ad-hoc Seasonal Ecologist position, which would involve completing evening surveys, including surveys for bats and great crested newts. This is an ideal position if you have other commitments that you may need to work around but still want to build some experience within the sector. This role will be throughout the 2026 season (March – October).

Job Responsibility:

Conducting ecological surveys including (but not limited to): reptile surveys, great crested newt surveys, bat emergence and bat activity surveys
Undertaking translocation visits
Supporting other members of the team

Requirements:

Access to own vehicle to drive to and from the office
