Job Responsibility:
Coordinate the nursing care of assigned patients in the Unit in order to provide quality patient care
Provide care based on physical, psychological, educational, safety and related criteria for the appropriate age populations
Provide professional nursing care exercising independent judgment in utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate
Provide leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient care team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting
Requirements:
Graduated from an accredited school of nursing with an Associates or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred
Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License (Employees with RN Compact License are required to obtain Texas RN License within 90 days of hire date)
American Heart Association BLS Certification is required
1-year of clinical Med Surg experience as a licensed RN in an acute care setting required - [Medical Surgical, Telemetry, Med-Tele, LTACH, Long-Term Care, LTC]
