Job Description

You will lead pricing and portfolio insight, shaping how pricing informs underwriting and portfolio performance.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead the design, development, validation, and ongoing maintenance of actuarial pricing models
  • Ensure pricing methodologies, assumptions, and controls are robust, well-governed, and compliant with Lloyd’s Minimum Standards and regulatory expectations
  • Support the transition of pricing tools into business-as-usual use, embedding them into underwriting workflows
  • Provide actuarial insight at portfolio level, assessing performance, mix of business, and risk concentrations rather than individual risks alone

Requirements

  • Fully qualified actuary with strong hands-on pricing experience in the Lloyd’s/London Market
  • Proven experience building, reviewing, and governing pricing models
  • Good understanding of reserving techniques and capital modelling concepts
  • Working knowledge of Excel
  • Deep knowledge of Hx
