Job Description:

Join a high-performing actuarial team supporting Aetna & SilverScript's Group Medicare Part D business. Responsibilities include strategy, pricing, and supporting employer group customers with a focus on financial risk management and developing sound recommendations.

Job Responsibility:

Work effectively with other Actuarial, Underwriting, and Account teams to price and support requests from specific large employer groups
utilize actuarial judgement and analytic skills to value the financial impacts of a variety of risks and market changes
take full ownership of assigned projects
act as a subject matter expert on assigned projects or concepts
leverage strong critical thinking to develop sound, unbiased recommendations
have excellent verbal and written communication to effectively convey observations and recommendations
contribute to the improvement of existing tools and recommend new innovative solutions
actively pursue continuous learning opportunities, participate in actuarial organizations, and contribute to professional development.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree along with 3+ years of relevant healthcare and actuarial experience
prior actuarial exams passed (or ASA)
strong communication skills
strong technical skills, including advanced Excel skills
strong analytic skills and attention to detail
adept at creative problem solving and decision making
self-motivated with a willingness to ask questions and take initiative
customer-focused mindset and willingness to address concerns of regulators and business/enterprise partners
comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with constant change
ability to effectively manage multiple priorities.

Nice to have:

ASA
prior pharmacy or Medicare Part D experience
prior health pricing experience
experience with SQL, GCP, SAS, and/or Python.
