This is a pivotal role within the Valuation team, focusing on the financial health and capital optimization of the business. A key focus of this role involves the Matching Adjustment (MA) framework. You will work on the technical application of asset-liability matching to help the business manage its capital more effectively. Your daily responsibilities will include: Performing regular valuations and reporting on life insurance products. Analyzing and monitoring the interaction between investment assets and insurance liabilities (ALM). Supporting the maintenance and optimization of the Matching Adjustment portfolio to improve capital efficiency. Collaborating with the Investment and Risk teams to ensure modeling accuracy. Explaining complex financial movements to internal stakeholders in a clear, actionable way.
Job Responsibility:

Requirements:
Good progression with actuarial examinations (from a recognized global body)
Proven experience in life insurance valuation or financial reporting
Direct experience or a very strong working knowledge of Asset Liability Management (ALM) and the Matching Adjustment framework
Familiarity with actuarial modeling software (e.g., Prophet, Moses, or Axis) and advanced Excel
High level of accuracy in financial modeling and ability to spot trends or anomalies in large data sets
Degree in Actuarial Science, with good progression in actuarial examinations
