This full-time hybrid position is based in our Mexico City office, with flexible work options available after initial training. The role supports multiple business areas and a phenomenal opportunity to join a collaborative and high-performing team in our Global Capability Center. In the role of Actuarial Specialist within Aon’s Risk Consulting practice, you will support analytical and advisory services. These services help clients understand and lead their risk and insurance programs. You will work alongside premier actuaries and consultants on many projects. These include loss reserving, pricing, forecasting, and self-insurance analysis. You will also build your actuarial expertise and progress toward your professional credentials.
Job Responsibility:
Deliver high-quality actuarial and analytical support across loss reserving, valuations, ratemaking, forecasting, self‑insurance, cash flow analysis, and data management to support existing and new client engagements
Collect, organize, and analyze complex data to support brokerage business, proposals, and client decision‑making, translating technical results into clear, client‑ready insights
Prepare accurate, well‑documented analyses, reports, presentations, and client correspondence that meet Aon standards for quality, clarity, and professional appearance
Collaborate effectively with internal teams, project leads, and clients to ensure alignment on scope, priorities, timelines, and timely data collection
Execute client service tasks efficiently by managing multiple priorities, meeting internal and external deadlines, applying established methodologies, and escalating anomalies as appropriate
Support innovation, continuous improvement, and professional development by enhancing processes, applying new analytical techniques, leveraging Aon knowledge tools, and meeting utilization targets (85–100%)
Requirements:
Proficiency in English at a B2 level
A bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in finance, mathematics, statistics, economics, actuarial science, or a related field
At least three years of relevant work experience
Strong communication skills—both written and oral
Organized
Deep understanding of basic actuarial concepts
Committed to completing the actuarial exam program (with one to two exams already completed and currently preparing for a CAS exam)
Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint, and Access
