This team plays a pivotal role in shaping business strategy and driving innovation. By combining advanced analytics and machine learning, you’ll help keep our pricing competitive and our risk under control. You’ll work at the intersection of data science and real-world impact, collaborating with cross-functional teams to turn insights into action.
Job Responsibility:
Optimize underwriting processes using data-driven insights, refining risk selection criteria and collaborating with Data Scientists to guide portfolio strategy
Identify performance patterns and new features, analyzing complex data to detect over/underperforming segments and strengthen risk understanding
Identify and integrate external data sources, negotiate strategic partnerships, and quantify their impact with the support of Data scientists to boost underwriting sophistication
Design competitive coverages that balance risk-customer needs-profitability and support along the end-to-end development through constant cross-functional collaboration
Requirements:
Strong academic background in Actuarial Science, Economics, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics or Statistics
From 2 to 6 years of experience in similar roles within motor insurance, consulting, or business transformation (e.g., process optimization)
Analytical powerhouse – Data-driven (Power BI, Tableau, SAS, SQL, Python) mindset to turn insights into action
Self-starter attitude – You take ownership, thrive in ambiguity, and make things happen—no hand-holding needed - empowered by strong problem-solving skills
Fluent English – Clear communication is key in our global team
Nice to have:
Exposure to underwriting/risk/antifraud processes or strategies
Project Leadership – Proven track record in managing cross-functional initiatives
Experience working with Product/Tech teams or in startups
