The Actuarial Analyst III is responsible for the support of pricing for our Commercial business, with a particular focus on ACA expansions into new geographies, strategies, developing rating models, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. This individual contributor position requires strong technical skills, a collaborative mindset, and strategic thinking.
Job Responsibility:
Assist in the development and refinement of pricing strategies to maintain competitive and profitable products in Individual & Small Group ACA markets
Build and maintain rating models
provide analytical insights and guidance to ensure accurate pricing for existing products and potential new market entries
Collaborate on special projects to support Individual ACA growth strategies and market expansions
Work with internal teams and state/federal regulatory agencies (e.g., CMS) to prepare rate filings and address policy updates, ensuring ongoing compliance
Requirements:
BA/BS and passed a minimum of four Society of Actuaries (SOA) actuarial exams and a minimum of 3 years related experience
or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background

Actively taking exams or attainment of Fellow or Associate of the Society of Actuaries (FSA or ASA)
4+ years of actuarial experience in health insurance, with an emphasis on pricing and/or product development
Proven ability to collaborate on complex projects and communicate findings to various audiences
