Adept Care Homes is a family-run provider of residential and residential dementia care across our welcoming Midlands-based homes. Bowood Court Care Home is a warm and welcoming 59-bed residential home in Enfield, Redditch, proudly delivering award-winning, high-quality care at an affordable level. We are now looking for a passionate, dynamic, and creative Activities Lead to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference by enhancing residents’ wellbeing and quality of life through engaging, meaningful, and purposeful activities in a caring and supportive environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Design and implement engaging Activities tailoring activities to accommodate the varying needs of individuals, including those with dementia
  • Promote cognitive stimulation and emotional well-being
  • Create a vibrant social calendar
  • Collaborate with residents and families
  • Implementing strategies to enhance the overall well-being of our residents
  • Supervise and train our Activity Coordinators
  • Foster a sense of community and camaraderie among residents through social gatherings, themed events, and special celebrations
  • Create strong community links with new and existing partners

Requirements:

  • Good literacy, numeracy and communication skills
  • Previous experience within a similar environment - ideally within an activities-based role
  • Own car and driving license

Team leader experience (desirable)
