Job Description

Dovehaven Care Homes are Recruiting for a Activities Co- Ordinator to join our team's at Argyle Park in Southport. Argyle Park is a Residential home catering for up to 31 residents. Our aim is to ensure all our residents feel as comfortable as possible, and promote independence, dignity and respect through positive risk taking and empowerment.

Job Responsibility

  • Create ideas, organise social and recreational events, both in and outside of the home
  • Consult with residents to identify their social and recreational interests
  • Generate enthusiasm and support the delivery of activities
  • Plan and implement a wide range of activities to support the physical and mental wellbeing of residents

Requirements

  • Previous experience within a similar setting, ideally with groups of people who have a variety of needs and tastes
  • Commitment to making the lives of elderly people better
  • Focus on making residents’ lives fulfilling
  • Ability to complete an Enhanced DBS check
  • Right values for our family run Company
