Job Description:

Part Time Role 22.75 hours working a 3 on 3 off rotation. In your role as an Activities Co-ordinator at HC-One, Kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It touches upon every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential and Specialist care homes. Every single person who works here understands that our Residents are people just like them with their own stories to tell. Job Responsibility:

  • Planning and implementing activities for Residents
  • Helping the Home Manager organise essential fundraising events
  • Giving Residents confidence to socialise more effectively
  • Working on new activity ideas based on Residents’ hobbies
  • Getting the rest of the care home team involved

Requirements:

  • Background working with vulnerable individuals
  • Experience developing activity programmes
  • Positive energy and natural ability to get along with people
  • Great planning, organisational and IT skills
  • Ability to manage time effectively
  • Considerate and kind communication
  • Ability to recognise signs of possible abuse, harm or neglect
  • Willingness to attend safeguarding training
