Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic, strategic, and growth-minded Activation Director, SEO to join our Activation Team. This team includes digital media experts, traditional media buyers, and ad operations specialists. This role requires a seasoned SEO leader with deep expertise across technical SEO, content strategy, search visibility, analytics, and evolving search behavior. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who can operate independently in a fast-paced environment, guide teams, solve complex challenges, and confidently communicate with executive stakeholders. You will lead strategic SEO initiatives while helping evolve the organization's SEO offering across traditional search, AI-driven search, and emerging generative experiences.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead and mentor a team of SEO professionals, driving performance, development, and a high-accountability culture
  • Own end to end SEO strategy across clients, including technical SEO, content strategy, AEO, GEO, and organic growth initiatives
  • Partner cross-functionally with paid media, analytics, content, strategy, and client services to ensure integrated execution
  • Oversee technical SEO initiatives including audits, crawlability, indexation, site architecture, Core Web Vitals, and schema implementation
  • Develop scalable SEO frameworks, workflows, and reporting structures to improve efficiency and execution quality
  • Translate complex SEO insights and AI-driven search trends into clear, actionable business recommendations for stakeholders
  • Support business development through SEO audits, strategic recommendations, proposal support, and solution design
  • Analyze performance data to identify growth opportunities, troubleshoot challenges, and refine strategy

Requirements

  • 10+ years of SEO experience with proven success driving measurable organic growth
  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing and developing high-performing SEO teams
  • Deep technical SEO expertise combined with the ability to translate insights into business impact
  • Agency experience managing multiple complex client engagements
  • Familiarity with AI-driven search, generative search, and evolving SERP dynamics
  • Experience contributing to business development and client strategy
  • Expertise in SEO tools including Google Search Console, GA4, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Sitebulb, and Moz
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and identify actionable insights
  • Advanced knowledge of technical SEO principles including crawlability, indexability, site performance, and structured data
