Job Description:

We’re looking for an Acting Senior Care Assistant (Nights) to join our friendly team at Kiwi House Care Home in Alvaston, Derby. This full-time, permanent role with a pay rate of £13.39 per hour. Part of the family-run Adept Care Homes, Kiwi House is a luxury 78-bed home providing high-quality residential and dementia care in a supportive, welcoming environment. If you’re passionate about delivering outstanding care, we’d love you to join us.

Job Responsibility:

  • providing high-quality, person-centred care
  • stepping up to take on senior responsibilities such as administering medication, supporting and supervising care staff, keeping accurate records, and working closely with healthcare professionals
  • ensuring residents receive respectful, personalised care that promotes their dignity and wellbeing

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 2 in Care (essential)
  • Previous care experience (essential)
  • NVQ Level 3 in Care (desirable)
  • Previous Senior Care experience (desirable)
  • Good literacy, numeracy and communication skills

Nice to have:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Care
  • Previous Senior Care experience
