Job Description

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an Acquisitions Specialist to support a government customer focused on national security and space‑based defense programs. This position is hybrid in El Segundo, CA (first month fully remote, then on‑site). The Acquisitions Specialist will support DoD acquisition and program management efforts for space mission programs, helping ensure critical capabilities are delivered to the warfighter.

Job Responsibility

  • Supporting government program managers with acquisition and program execution activities
  • Assisting with acquisition documentation, schedules, and program reporting
  • Coordinating meetings, briefings, and program communications
  • Supporting contractor oversight and program reviews
  • Assisting with budget tracking and overall program support efforts

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience supporting DoD acquisition or program management efforts
  • Experience working within government or military acquisition environments
  • Former military experience with exposure to acquisition processes (Air Force preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree required (Master's degree preferred)
  • Active TS/SCI clearance
