The Acquisitions Coordination Manager is responsible for leading the execution of approved single-site acquisitions (SSA) from Real Estate Committee (REC) approval through successful opening. This role serves as the primary point of accountability for coordinating cross-functional stakeholders, managing due diligence, maintaining timelines, and ensuring each acquisition is completed efficiently, confidentially, and in alignment with company standards. This position requires a strong project-management mindset, a sense of urgency, and the ability to drive progress across multiple workstreams in a fast-paced acquisition environment.
Job Responsibility:
Own the end-to-end execution of approved acquisitions from post-approval through opening
Establish, manage, and maintain acquisition timelines, milestones, and deliverables
Organize and lead acquisition kick-off calls and ongoing status review calls
Maintain accurate project tracking and reporting in Smartsheet
Coordinate due diligence, reporting and execution activities with cross-functional teams
Ensure all stakeholders understand expectations, deadlines, and confidentiality requirements
Partner with Environmental teams to ensure timely completion of Phase I, Phase II, and related environmental requirements
Maintain awareness of fuel systems, tanks, and related environmental considerations
Track and resolve environmental action items impacting closing or opening timelines
Work closely with Business Units to drive readiness activities, including rebranding execution and transition coordination
Coordinate inventory wires and support closing activities
Ensure critical dates are clearly defined, maintained, and achieved
Proactively identify risks, bottlenecks, or delays and drive resolution
Provide clear status updates and escalation as needed
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
3–5+ years of experience in real estate, acquisitions, project management, or property management
Experience in supporting or managing operating-site acquisitions strongly preferred
Working knowledge of environmental due diligence (Phase I / Phase II)
Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder-management skills
Proficiency with Smartsheet or similar project-management tools
Execution-focused with a strong sense of urgency
Detail-oriented while able to manage multiple concurrent projects
Comfortable driving accountability across cross-functional teams
Able to operate independently and make sound judgment calls
