Job Description

Join Barclays as an Acquisitions and Divestitures, Analyst, where you will support senior bankers on strategically significant M&A transactions. In this role, you’ll apply deep analytical skills and industry knowledge to help clients navigate critical acquisition and divestiture strategies and achieve value‑creating results.

Job Responsibility

  • Analysis of technical (petroleum / reservoir engineering) data to provide inputs for financial model used to market client's asset, or help with investment opportunities
  • Provision of engineering support for transactions, including drafting presentation materials, and preparing data room documents
  • Collaboration with other team members in generating A&D / M&A ideas for clients
  • Building / leveraging of network of industry contacts to stay informed about the technical aspects of the business, and leverage that knowledge for related pitch work and assignments
  • To help clients with technical evaluation for acquisitions, divestitures and financial solutions to meet their business objectives

Requirements

  • Related Reservoir Engineering
  • Performing Decline Curve Analysis (DCA) and field development planning, including type curve generation, inventory evaluation and creating drill schedules
