Job Description:

The Acquisition Subject Matter Expert (SME) will support a federal client with the development of pre-award and post-award documents to include contract closeout.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provides procurement support for all phases of procurement from acquisition planning to contract closeout (cradle-to-grave)
  • Drafts, reviews, and edits advanced-level technical documentation
  • Prepares technical, complex (over $10M) labor and hardware/software acquisition Pre-Award packages and associated contract documentation
  • Conducts market research, reviews procurement histories, and makes recommendations for procurement strategies by presenting and substantiating supporting rationale
  • Leads acquisition teams and driving government acquisition requirements through the acquisition lifecycle
  • Manages acquisitions support operations, including the active status tracking of all ongoing and upcoming acquisition requirements and post-award contracts
  • Provides post-award support to procurement and/or contract management staff, including: Advanced-level contract tracking and reporting
  • Management of Integrated Master Schedules (IMS)
  • Contracts financial tracking and reporting
  • Contracts performance management (cost and schedule) and associated tracking
  • Documents management, quality control experience, data verification and validation experience

  • Secret clearance which requires U.S. Citizenship
  • FAC-C/CFCM/CPPB certification preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field of study and a minimum of ten (10) years relevant experience or combination of education/experience
