Job Responsibility

  • Acquisition Professionals (AP) provides acquisition support on functions for program management
  • Assists program managers in developing program documentation, creating program schedules, tracking program status, evaluating operational and technical alternatives, performing risk assessment and managing integrated product teams
  • Advice to Government on acquisition / solicitation / award strategy
  • Development / refinement of acquisition strategy, including drafting, documentation management, tracking of status, organizing meetings
  • Requirements phase gathering and documentation, including management and integration of contract requirements from multiple sources solicitation drafting / administration / strategy
  • RFI / RFP administration: tracking, documenting correspondence and questions from prospective vendors, support for industry day activities

Requirements

  • TS/SCI with Poly required. (FS desired)
  • A Bachelor’s Degree with a business or technical focus is required
  • Twelve (12) years of demonstrated combined experience in DoD program management, contract management, and/or financial management, and a bachelor's degree with a business or technical focus is required. In lieu of a degree, Project Management Institute PMP certification, Contract Manager CPCM certification, or DAWIA Level III in any focus area, and an additional three (3) years of directly related experience for a total of fifteen (15) years may be substituted
  • Familiarity with Plan-It is preferred
  • In lieu of certification, an additional three (3) years of directly related experience for a total of eighteen (18) years may be substituted
  • Intermediate proficiency with MS Excel is required to include demonstrated use of pivot tables, slicers, and pivot charts
