We are seeking top performing Account Executives with digital advertising experience who can drive revenue and increase customer satisfaction by developing and cultivating strategic client relationships and delivering customized solutions aligning to the client's advertising needs. As an Account Executive (AE), Acquisition in Microsoft Advertising enables Microsoft to better serve strategic customers by applying customer obsession to what clients care about and need, ensuring our Microsoft Advertising story is valued and understood, and acting to build successful, long-term relationships. You will be responsible for bringing New Business to meet/exceed new business revenue targets, with predominant focus on Search and Native offerings. This opportunity will allow you to develop quality customer plans for laying out revenue and customer satisfaction growth strategies. Success is measured by specific success indicators focused on driving adoption, emphasizing customer experience, and optimizing opportunities. You will perform your role with execution excellence to drive client success and business results and drive both revenue and customer satisfaction across MSA's performance solutions.

Job Responsibility:

  • Create and maintain a robust Prospecting Plan including Territory Management and Prospecting objectives
  • For acquired customers, develop quality customer plans by laying out revenue and customer satisfaction growth strategies and partnering with Account Specialist to manage for 6 months to reach full graduation potential
  • Develop, lead and execute MSA sales strategy & priorities to enable client growth of existing and new products and purposefully positions outcomes within the context of the client's digital marketing journey from current to future state
  • Lead Sales planning with the Account team including achieving sales targets and increasing existing budgets while also opening new share of wallet opportunities with Audience ads and other incubations products and ensure shared accountability for sales targets with the team and work in partnership with team to bring the best resources to ensure deal success
  • Expand the client's view of the importance of MSA products and concede negotiables in an order that ensures both parties feel they are winning as well as effectively maintains good working relationships with those involved in negotiation
  • Lead the update of pipeline reviewing top new opportunities, identifying roadblocks, and ensures the right resources are engaged to overcome client objections
  • Execute sales per expectations against pipeline, new client and opportunity management goals per the MSA Solution Selling process for new deals, driving for client verifiable outcomes at each stage

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, or related field AND 8+ years experience in sales, advertising, or marketing with a focus on online media, or digital advertising
  • OR Master's Degree in Business Administration in Sales, Marketing, or related field AND 5+ years experience in sales, advertising, or marketing with a focus on online media, or digital advertising
  • OR 9+ years experience in sales, advertising, or marketing with a focus on online media, or digital advertising
  • OR equivalent experience
  • Experience in online media, digital advertising, or Search Engine Marketing Sales and Service experience

Nice to have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, or related field AND 12+ years experience in sales, advertising, or marketing with a focus on online media, or digital advertising
