Job Description:

Locum Accuracy Checking Technician role at a private hospital in Devon starting May 2025. Includes competitive hourly pay, local accommodation, and an opportunity to work in a dispensary setting with no prior hospital experience required.

Job Responsibility:

accuracy checking prescriptions (ACT qualification required)
dispensing medications and supporting day-to-day operations
ensuring full regulatory compliance
handling medication queries from staff
maintaining accurate, organised records
supporting patient safety through high-quality pharmacy service

Requirements:

GPhC-registered Accuracy Checking Technician (ACT)
clear communication and team collaboration skills
ability to work independently and with initiative

Nice to have:

experience in a dispensary-based role
familiarity with hospital pharmacy, NHS or Private
strong understanding of UK pharmacy procedures
