The Recovery Specialist provides clinical assessment, risk/safety planning, and treatment planning for adults with serious mental illness. The role is pivotal in leading the development of comprehensive, recovery-based services and coordinating a multi-disciplinary team to evaluate and enhance program services.
Job Responsibility:
Provides clinical assessment, risk/safety planning, and treatment planning for adults with serious mental illness
Leading the development of comprehensive, recovery-based services and coordinating a multi-disciplinary team to evaluate and enhance program services
Providing clinical leadership for an assigned group of clients
Coordinating and monitoring the activities of the individual treatment team
Assuming primary responsibility for the development, implementation, evaluation, and revision of overall treatment goals and plans in collaboration with the team
Requirements:
Master's Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Rehabilitation Counseling, or Applied Behavioral Analysis
Ability to work within a team dynamic
Demonstrated ability to work successfully at coordinating care across a continuum of care required
Valid driver’s license, safe driving record, and access to a personal vehicle to provide occasional transportation of consumers
Strong communication and documentation skills
The capability to provide individual supportive therapy and symptom management
