Accreditation Client Group Coordinator: Reporting to the Accreditation Client Group Manager, the Accreditation Client Group Coordinator supports the planning, coordination, and operational delivery of accreditation services for designated client groups for the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027™. Working closely with Client Group Managers, Accreditation Systems, Security, Venue teams, and other functional areas, the role focuses on data accuracy, process execution, stakeholder support, and operational readiness. The position plays a critical role in ensuring that client group accreditation applications are processed correctly, access rights are applied accurately, and services are delivered in line with FIFA accreditation policies and service standards.
Job Responsibility:
Support accreditation delivery for assigned client groups, such as volunteers, suppliers, commercial partners, workforce, or other tournament stakeholders.
Assist in collecting, reviewing, and validating client group accreditation data in line with eligibility criteria and submission timelines.
Maintain regular communication with client group contacts to provide guidance on accreditation requirements, processes, and deadlines.
Coordinate closely with Client Group Managers to support overall client group readiness and service delivery.
Support the end‑to‑end accreditation process for assigned client groups, including application tracking, data validation, approval support, badge status monitoring, and distribution preparation.
Assist with the accurate assignment and verification of access rights in accordance with FIFA zoning concepts, venue access matrices, and security protocols.
Monitor application progress and highlight issues, inconsistencies, or risks to the Client Group Manager.
Assist in liaising with FIFA and FIFA27 functional areas to communicate accreditation guidelines and data requirements.
Support the preparation of guidance materials, instructions, and training documentation for client groups and venue teams.
Provide operational support to venue accreditation teams as required.
Support the operation of Accreditation Centres and badge distribution points during test events and tournament time.
Assist with client service at accreditation centres, including troubleshooting data issues and supporting badge collection processes.
Support coordination with Security, Venue Operations, and Accreditation Operations teams to address access‑related issues promptly.
Escalate operational issues or irregularities to the Client Group Manager in a timely manner.
Maintain accurate records of client group accreditation statistics, issues, and resolutions.
Support regular reporting on volumes, progress, and operational status.
Assist with post‑event reporting, lessons learned, and knowledge transfer activities.
Requirements:
Fluent in Portuguese and English
Right to work in Brazil
Ability to re-locate to Rio de Janeiro.
University degree or equivalent experience in Event Management, Operations, Sports Administration, or a related field.
1–2 years of experience in accreditation, event operations, data coordination, or client‑facing roles.
Experience working in major events or large‑scale operational environments is an advantage.
Exposure to accreditation systems or access control processes is a plus.
High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
Strong data handling and administrative accuracy.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in fast‑paced, time‑critical, and multicultural environments.
Ability to follow defined processes and escalate issues appropriately.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and online collaboration tools.
