We are working with an impressive Chartered Accountancy Practice known for delivering tailored accounting, tax, and advisory services to a diverse portfolio of clients. Job Responsibility:
Oversee and manage a varied portfolio of clients including limited companies, partnerships, sole traders, and high-net-worth individuals
Prepare and review statutory accounts in accordance with FRS 102 and IFRS
Deliver management accounts, VAT returns, bookkeeping and corporation tax computations
Review and prepare self-assessment tax returns
Provide high-value business advice, tax planning, and financial strategy guidance
Act as a trusted point of contact for client relationships, ensuring deadlines and expectations are consistently met
Identify opportunities to improve internal systems and enhance client service delivery
Stay current with developments in accounting technologies and contribute to internal efficiencies
Mentor and support junior team members to help drive quality and team development
Requirements:
ACCA or ACA newly qualified or part qualified, with a broad knowledge of accounts and tax
2+ years’ experience in a UK accountancy practice
Strong understanding of UK accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements
A confident communicator who enjoys building client relationships and delivering tailored advice
A natural problem solver with commercial awareness and a collaborative mindset
Comfortable with accounting software and open to learning new technologies
Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
