The Accounts Receivable Supervisor oversees the Accounts Receivable (AR) function within the Finance organization of asmodee North America ("ANA"). They work with the Manager of Operational Accounting and AR team members to ensure payments from our customers are received promptly and to manage credit risk and limits.
Job Responsibility
Supervise the daily activities of a team of Accounts Receivable Specialists
Work with the AR team to effectively manage customer accounts, minimize past-due balances and limit write-offs of bad debt
Ensure cash is applied to customer accounts in an accurate and timely manner
Analyze, problem-solve and address any issues with payments from customers to resolve promptly
Conduct credit checks on new customers
establish and manage credit limits
Review and approve customer credit memos in accordance with the internal controls framework required by asmodee Group Internal Audit team
Establish and monitor KPIs and identify ways to improve collections, overall aging reduction, and process improvements
Ensure Accounts Receivable processes and procedures are documented and updated as appropriate
Hire and onboard Accounts Receivable Specialists
as needed
Coach and develop AR team members, including performance management and corrective action (as necessary)
Assist in accounting audits and special projects as directed or assigned by management
Protect operations by keeping financial information and plans confidential
Communicate with all co-workers, management, customers and others in a courteous and professional manner
Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions

Requirements
Strong, concise, and effective verbal and written communication skills

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or business-related field, or equivalent work experience
