We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in El Monte, California. The ideal candidate will bring bilingual language skills in Japanese or another Asian language, along with proficiency in accounting practices and tools.
Job Responsibility:
Manage full-cycle accounting processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and month-end closings
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with accuracy and attention to detail
Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial reports to ensure data integrity
Process invoices and conduct bank reconciliations to maintain up-to-date financial records
Assist in preparing documents for annual tax filings and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
Analyze financial data and generate reports to support strategic decision-making
Collaborate with management in developing company budgets and financial forecasts
Conduct internal audits and provide recommendations for improving financial procedures
Stay updated on current accounting principles and practices to ensure compliance and efficiency
Requirements:
Bilingual proficiency in Japanese or another Asian language is required
A minimum of 1 year of accounting experience for bilingual Japanese candidates
2-3 years for candidates proficient in other Asian languages
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create complex spreadsheets
Hands-on experience with full-cycle accounting, including AP/AR, reconciliations, and month-end closings
Familiarity with preparing financial statements and conducting financial analysis
Knowledge of accounting software systems, ERP solutions, and tools such as Great Plains
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing financial records
Ability to conduct audits and ensure compliance with state revenue regulations
