Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Burlington Township, New Jersey. In this long-term contract position, you will play a key role in managing collections, cash applications, and maintaining accurate financial records. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong attention to detail and a solid background in accounts receivable and related financial functions.

Job Responsibility:

Handle collections activities, ensuring timely follow-ups and resolution of outstanding balances
Process cash applications accurately and in alignment with company policies
Maintain and update records in accounting, ERP, and CRM systems to ensure data accuracy
Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies to maintain financial integrity
Collaborate with internal teams to streamline billing and accounts receivable processes
Prepare financial reports and summaries related to accounts receivable activities
Monitor cash handling and cash activity to ensure compliance with established procedures
Provide exceptional customer support to address billing inquiries and payment issues
Assist in continuous improvement initiatives for accounts receivable and cash application workflows

Requirements:

A minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable, collections, and cash applications
Strong understanding of billing functions and cash handling processes
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external clients
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
