Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Buffalo, New York. This Contract to permanent position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute your skills in managing financial transactions and ensuring the accuracy of cash flow operations. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in accounts receivable processes, including collections, billing, and cash applications.

Job Responsibility

  • Process and manage accounts receivable transactions to ensure timely and accurate recording of all financial activities
  • Oversee commercial collections efforts, maintaining effective communication with clients to resolve outstanding balances
  • Apply cash receipts to customer accounts, ensuring proper allocation and reconciliation
  • Handle billing functions, including preparing invoices and verifying their accuracy before distribution
  • Monitor daily cash activity to ensure proper reporting and compliance with financial standards
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to payments or account balances
  • Generate detailed reports on accounts receivable status, providing insights to management

Requirements
