Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in West Memphis, Arkansas. In this role, you will oversee key financial processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in managing accounts receivable and related tasks. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of accounting principles.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare comprehensive financial statements to provide accurate insights into company performance
execute month-end closing procedures while ensuring all accounts are balanced and reconciled
reconcile control accounts to maintain consistency and accuracy in financial records
create and post journal entries to capture and document financial transactions
develop detailed analytical reports to support decision-making processes
maintain and update fixed asset records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards
process weekly general ledger postings for payroll activities
investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies or issues in a timely manner
reconcile sales taxes, purchase clearing accounts, and freight accounts to ensure proper accounting
review and audit production entries to ensure accuracy and adherence to company policies.

Requirements:

Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
proficiency in performing bank reconciliations and managing general ledger activities
expertise in preparing journal entries and executing month-end close procedures
familiarity with accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, or SAP
strong analytical skills and attention to detail when working with financial data
ability to troubleshoot and resolve accounting issues effectively
solid understanding of sales tax reconciliation and fixed asset management
excellent organizational and communication skills for collaborating with team members.
