We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join a team in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. This role requires someone who pays close attention to detail, thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, and is skilled in managing various aspects of accounts receivable processes. Job Responsibility:
Process daily accounts receivable transactions, including invoicing, payment applications, account reconciliations, and handling unapplied cash
Perform regular batching and deposits for credit card payments and financing transactions
Utilize a check scanner to deposit daily check batches into the bank account accurately and efficiently
Handle customer refunds and chargebacks promptly to ensure smooth financial operations
Monitor and manage collection efforts across multiple entities to reduce aged receivables and improve cash flow
Conduct thorough aging reviews, document trends, and escalate unresolved issues to the Accounts Receivable Manager
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and implement strategies for minimizing outstanding receivables
Ensure accurate and timely processing of credit memos and maintain organized records for audit purposes
Support reconciliation efforts to maintain consistency and accuracy across financial accounts
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar financial role
Proficiency in Sage accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables
Strong understanding of accounts receivable operations, including billing, cash applications, and collections
Proven ability to manage high-volume workflows in a fast-paced environment
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure accuracy in financial processes
Effective communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and external clients
Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in accounts receivable processes
Experience with commercial collections and cash activity management
