Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This is a Contract-to-permanent opportunity, offering the chance to collaborate with a dedicated and supportive accounting team. The ideal candidate will excel in cash application processes, possess strong analytical skills, and demonstrate the ability to resolve discrepancies effectively.

Job Responsibility:

Accurately apply cash receipts to customer accounts, ensuring timely and precise processing
Conduct collections activities to address outstanding balances and maintain positive client relationships
Assist with billing tasks, ensuring invoices are accurate and delivered promptly
Research and resolve discrepancies, presenting findings to the audit team for resolution
Participate in cleanup efforts related to historical accounting records and processes.

Requirements:

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as VLOOKUPs and pivot tables
Strong understanding of cash application processes and related accounting principles
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
Ability to research and reconcile complex discrepancies effectively
Experience working with accounting software and ERP systems
A collaborative and positive attitude, with the ability to work well within a team environment.
